I developed my passion for buildings while spending part of my childhood living in a Frank Lloyd Wright house on his block in Oak Park. That foundational experience developed my admiration for the importance of how spaces function and flow, as well as for how considered design choices give a space its character.

I began my real estate career in 2005 after gut renovating the six-flat where LivingRoom’s office resides in Noble Square. This process provided an in-depth knowledge about buildings from the inside out. I founded LivingRoom Realty to create a service-oriented real estate company that values great architecture and design, lifts up the creative community, and provides top notch service. I love helping clients navigate Chicago’s housing market, working with my awesome team, developing and hosting events, and steering the business to continue to grow in new and creative ways.

Prior to real estate I was an Associate Director implementing global technology projects at Swiss Bank/UBS, and I have an undergraduate degree in Music Business and Bassoon performance. I'm a musician (I have a honky tonk dance band) and a ceramicist, and I love spending time on my property, Red Clover Ranch, outside of Viroqua, Wisconsin.

Ten years ago, coming from the deserts of Arizona where buildings come in various shades of brown and textures of stucco, I spent the first couple of months living in Chicago driving around, soaking in the city landscape, and developing a love for architecture, real estate and design. I built a successful 10+ year career as a hairdresser in the West Loop. As a real estate broker, I am committed to utilizing the same client-first methodology I learned behind the chair – based on honesty, compassion and being a true advocate – to help guide my clients through the real estate process. I am enthralled by the real estate process from the first conversation to the closing and understand how incredibly important and personal it is for every person. I am honored to be able to be a part of such a pivotal moment in my clients' lives. Whether helping people find their first home or last, or buying a mixed-use or commercial space for their business or investment, I diligently work to ensure that our clients are finding their best fit.
I currently live in Noble Square with my lovely wife Gizelle and our pitbull Frank. In my free time, I enjoy meditative slow stitching, practicing my new hobby of weaving, geeking out on interior design, playing softball on a rec team I sponsor, and anything involving cooking and food. My real estate journey began when my family bought a three-flat in Lincoln Square, converted it to condos, sold two of the units to friends, and kept one for ourselves. Today, Ainslie House is a bustling place with six kids, five adults, and the occasional fish. We’ve found that life together is not only more meaningful but also more manageable. This is my inspiration as a Realtor – the belief that real estate can truly bring people together.

I consider it an honor to guide clients through the financial and emotional transitions that come with buying, selling, and investing in real estate. I excel at understanding what matters most to my clients and guiding them through the steps to get there.

Before becoming a Realtor, I worked for 15 years as a fundraiser for human services, social justice, and higher education organizations in Evanston and Chicago. I enjoy bike trips, youth sports, book club, church stuff, mid-century design, and trying new ways to make life more fun by sharing.
